Funeral services for Bernard Earl Nelson of Streamwood since 1967 will be held Monday 10:00a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Family and friends to meet 12:30p.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 27034 S. Diagonal Road Elwood, IL 60421.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday 2:00 - 8:00p.m.

He is the beloved husband of 57 years of Rose nee Mook; loving father of Bernard of Bartlett, Craig (Barb) of Bartlett, Joan (Michael) Bobowski of Bartlett, Kathy (Cort) DeRossett of Hanover Park and Peggy (Richard) Fischer of Spring Grove; proud grandfather of 8 with his first great grandchild "on the way"; dear brother of Stella Gray of AZ, Robert Nelson of FL and the late Ben and Grace.
