Bernard “Berny” D. Malo, 64, of Roselle, died Thursday, September 1, 2011. Born August 26, 1947 in Chicago. He was the son of Benny and Elaine (nee Steif).
Survivors include wife Carol (nee Hart); sister-in-law Janet Owens; nephews Doug Owens and niece Laura (Brent) Fowler; and special canine friend Amber.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Gerrie.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2011, from 3:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd(1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd), Roselle. Funeral Wednesday 10:00a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Emblem. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 405 S. Rush St, Roselle, IL 60172.
