Bednowicz of Schaumburg for 30 years will be held Monday, January 16, 2017 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Tuesday 10:15a.m. to Church of the Holy Spirit. Mass 11:00a.m. Following mass, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Born August 19, 1936 in Chicago, Bernard died Thursday, January 12, 2017.
A machinist for Borg-Warner for many years, he loved to bowl.
Bernard is the beloved father of Deborah (Bernard) Calvaresi, Gregory and Scott (DeAnn); cherished grandfather of Jason, Joseph, Jordan, Taylor and Dakota; dear brother of Virginia, Eleanor (the late Admiral Rickover), Louis (Joyce) and the late Leonard (the late Irene); former husband of Roberta Bednowicz.
