Ben Wilson

Ben F. Wilson, 94, of Bartlett, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Vandenplas); loving dad of David (Midori); Janet (Dennis) Schoefernacker and Nancy (Richard) Brems; cherished grandpa of Brian (Erika), Grant, Eric (Jessica), Andrea, Katherine (Peter), and Thomas (Lindsey); dear great-grandpa of Violet, Lottie, Heidi, Chloe, Gabrielle, Evan, Tyler, Brooke, Paul and Reid; caring son of the late Harry and Ida (nee Blume) and brother of the late Ray, Robert, John, Harry A., Marie, Edie, Pauline and Ida Mae. Ben was a veteran of WWII having served in the Navy, was a woodworker and original member of Living Lord Lutheran Church.


Lying in state 10:00a.m. until service 11:00a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Living Lord Lutheran Church, 1044 Congress Dr, Bartlett. Interment Bartlett Cemetery.
