Barbara “Barb” Mae Nendze (nee Pries), 80, of Elgin, died Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at home. Born October 27, 1942 in Oak Park. Barb was an avid reader. She enjoyed cross stitching and traveling to new places. Beloved wife of 60 years to James “Jim”; loving mom of Judy (Ludvig) Johansen and Kim (Michael Arena) Jones; cherished grandma of Katie (Brad Vorreyer) and Eric (Mariah Dorsey) Johansen; dear daughter of the late Marvin and Mae (nee Koeppel) Pries; kind sister of the late Dr James Pries; fond aunt of Alex and Alissa Pries and caring sister-in-law of Connie Pries. Cremation is private at the Countryside Crematory.
