Barbara A. Moenich

Barbara A. Moenich, beloved wife, sister, and devoted dog mom, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Born on November 19, 1958, in Spokane, Washington, Barbara lived a life full of love, happiness, and passion.

Barbara is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Terry Moenich, who shared her many joys in life, including their mutual love for classic cars, especially Mustangs and Corvettes. Her siblings, Patty, Susan, and Bob, remember her as a loving sister whose warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

A devoted "dog mom," Barbara shared her heart and home with her cherished canine companions Chipper, Maggie, Kelly, Angus, Scarlett, Ruby, Elvis, Crystal, Maggie II, and Barney. Her love for dogs defined much of her life's purpose and brought her immeasurable joy.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, William H. Mitchell and Shirley Mitchell, who instilled in her values of compassion, love, and honesty.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to local animal shelters in Barbara’s honor, reflecting her enduring commitment to the welfare of dogs.

Barbara's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, her friends, and everyone whose lives she touched with her gentle spirit and gracious heart.
