Barbara L. McAuliff, 85, of South Elgin, died Saturday, December 16, 2023. Born October 15, 1938 in Johnston City, IL. Barbara enjoyed playing cards such as Thirteen and Pinochle but her biggest passion was always her family. Beloved wife of the late Patrick; loving mom of Steven (Sara). Daniel (Sandy), Thomas (Nancy) and Robert (Julie) McAuliff; cherished grandma of Michael, Ryan, Danielle, Robert Jr, Katie, Emily and Jessica; dear daughter of the late Martin and Florence Leonard and kind sister of the late Agnus, Mary, Martin, Jack, Patricia and Betty. Visitation 10:00am until time of service 1:00pm on Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd, Bartlett. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. Burial of cremains at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
