Barbara Ann Lenegir, 73, of Bartlett, IL passed away on January 3, 2025. Barb was born on June 9, 1951 in Chicago, IL to her parents Joseph and Winifred Wakolbinger. She loved the color purple, daisies and dogs, she was not a big fan of cats. Barb was a passionate reader and loved correcting people on their grammar mistakes, some would say she was the grammar police.

Barbara is the beloved wife of 25 years to Rex Lenegir; loving sister of Tom (Beverly) Wakolbinger and Greg (Mary) Wakolbinger; cherished aunt of Jeffrey (Jennifer), Elizabeth (Errol), Jessica (Gavin), and Daniel and great-aunt of Owen, Charlotte, Colin, William, Emme, Milli and Daisy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd. Bartlett, IL 60103.
