Services for Barbara Ruth Klopp of Bartlett since 1982 will be held Monday, July 17, 2017, lying in state 10:00a.m. until time of service 11:00a.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church 1116 E. Devon, Bartlett. Interment Glen Oaks/Oakridge.
Barb loved spending time with her family and friends and loved the Lord. She was active for many years at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church where she served as Treasurer, participated in the Altar Guild and was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML). She also volunteered for 15 years in the gift shop at Central DuPage Hospital.
She is the cherished daughter of the late Raymond and Verona Klopp nee Larson; beloved cousin of William (Barbe) Hagstrom, III, Sherry (Richard Sinon) Parmenter, Pam (Jim) Burmeister, loving 2nd cousin to Jim (Ninfa) and William Burmeister, Joelle (Kevin) Vogt and Karyn (James) Tiffany, also Godmother of Mindy Burmeister;proud 3rd cousin to Zachary and Gianna; special friend to Peter Minniti; "Sister in Christ" to Beverly Bayes. Barbara is also reunited with her beloved cat "Charlie".
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to LWML-NID at lwmlnid.org or Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church would be appreciated. Arrangements by Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory Bartlett. (630) 289-7575.
