Barbara Hinneberg

Barbara Hinneberg nee Frendreiss, age 89 of Bartlett, IL passed away at home peacefully on January 7, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.

She is the beloved wife of the late Jack Hinneberg for 65 years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons, William (Jean) Hinneberg, Jeffrey Hinneberg and daughter Roberta (Alan) Hemstreet; grandchildren Jack (Audrey) Hinneberg, Sarah (Bryan) Morrison, Jeffrey, Karen and Michael Hemstreet; great grandchildren William (Billy) Hinneberg, Blake and Cole Morrison; brother-in-law John Leszczynski.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents William and Barbara Frendreiss, sister Jacqueline Leszczynski; “parents-in-law” William and Mabel Hinneberg and sister-in-law Carolyn Hinneberg Hesch ( Gardner (Robert).

Barbara grew up in Villa Park, IL and attended the University of Illinois Chicago at Navy Pier where she met the love of her life, Jack. They were married in 1951. Barbara and Jack raised their children in Arlington Heights and retired in Bartlett, IL. She was a First Grade teacher for 27 years at Cardinal Drive School in Rolling Meadows and Thomas Jefferson in Palatine.

Barbara and Jack loved to travel extensively during their lifetime. Barbara was an avid reader and rarely was without a book by her side.
Her greatest love and continued joy was her family. They were all by her side during her final hours. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.
