Barbara Campbell

Barbara M. Campbell (nee Schmidt), 85, of Roselle, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025. Barbara was a volunteer at Sherman Hospital for over 40 years. She diligently cared for her husband who suffered from diabetes allowing him to have a fullfilling life because of her care. Barbara was known as the social butterfly among her family and friends and enjoyed playing games with everyone. Beloved wife of the late William; dear mother of William (Penny) Campbell, Michelle Medreck, Glenn (Jenny) Campbell, and the late Carol Campbell; devoted grandmother of Shari Stover, Shawna Stover, Jessica Campbell, and Josiah (Elizabeth) Campbell; proud great grandmother of Sophia, Ginger, Betty, Bonnie, Matthew, Ronnie, and Frances; loving sister of Margaret (Ed) Szakonyi; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, May 7 from 11:00am until time of service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle.
