Barbara "Barbie" Baumann (nee: Kamer), age 75 of Bartlett, Loving mother of Brenda Lee Baumann, Sue Ann (Will) Warwik, Gerald Lee (Pratima) Baumann II, the late Theresa Ann (Steve) Stewart; caring grandmother of Karen, Bonnie, Brandon, Nick, Jerry III, Priya and great grandmother of Elle, Everett and Eddy; many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, grand parents, siblings and her former spouse Gerald L. Baumann, aunts, uncles and many friends.
Barbara was born in Germany of Polish decent and came to The United States at the age of 9 years old with her family, when a Catholic priest from Chicago sponsored the family. She worked as a Hostess, waitress and bartender until she retired.
Memorial Mass Saturday March 30 11:00am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 East Main Street, St. Charles, Il. 60174. The family will have a private burial at Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, Il. at a later date. The Countryside Funeral Homes & Crematory, Bartlett assisted the family with arrangements
