Barbara Auble
September 28, 1938 — February 7, 2013
Barbara R. Auble (nee Rees) of Bartlett for 74 years; beloved wife of 54 years to Glenn; loving mother of Marcus (Julie) and the late Robin; cherished grandmother of Sabrina, Sierra, Morgana, Quinton, Tyler, Griffin and Reese; dear sister of Nancy (Eldon) Sellers.
Bobbi and Glenn worked side by side for over 20 years in Auble Real Estate and Appraisal in Wheaton. Bobbi had been an art major in college and after retirement devoted her time to pursuing the arts and crafts in which she excelled. From her start in knitting she went to basket weaving, cloth weaving and most of all her beloved pottery. Fine Line Creative Art Center became her second family. Friends and family all treasure the beautiful things she created for us. She and Glenn also traveled extensively and loved enjoying good food and wine. Of course Bobbi’s true love was her family and she adored spending time and traveling with all of her grandchildren who brought such joy to her life. We will all miss her.
Visitation Monday, February 11th 3-9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Tuesday 10:30 a.m. Burial Little Woods Cemetery. Donations to the Fine Line Creative Art Center, 6N158 Crane Rd., St. Charles, IL 60175 would be appreciated.
