Banwari Goel

August 24, 1926 — January 16, 2024

Our dear and respected father, grandfather, great grandfather, Sri Banwari Lal Goel, passed away peacefully in the early hours of January 16, 2024 at an accomplished age of 99. He spent his last days surrounded and loved by his doting wife, Satyawati, daughters, Vijai and Nutan, and some of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He lived a full and grand life as the king of his home and family. He retired from a long and distinguished career as a Deputy Collector, UP State Government where he served his country. Even after retirement, he maintained deep-rooted values and pride for his country, remaining a devout Indian (Bharathi) through and through. He was a strong, truthful, and honest man who had a resplendent personality. He held the highest of morals and displayed utmost devotion and love towards his family and loved ones, going above and beyond. His love for life lives on through the eyes and presence of the love of his life, his wife of 76 years, Satyawati Goel and darling younger sister, Pushpalata Agarwal. His legacy continues thru the strong values he instilled in his 5 beloved children (Vijai Bala Gupta, Desh Deepak Goel, Nutan Mandelia, Poonam Jain and Renu Gupta). His twinkling eyes and playful smile still live on and bring joy to his adored 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Even at the age of 99, he maintained good health, looking youthful and energetic, impressing everyone with his zest for politics and the latest Youtube news releases. A man of few words but with a heart and mind that were unmatched. We rejoice his beautiful life and are thankful for all the memories and moments we have to remember him.
