Born November 10, 1921 in Mexico, she died Friday October 9, 2015.

Avelina is the beloved wife of the late Joseph Jesse; loving mother of Rosalie (the late George) Perez, Yolanda Vargas, Joseph Jesse, Jr. and James Jay (Tammie); cherished grandmother of Michelle (Ron) Kaufman, Marci Perez (Ken) Giambalvo, Ian Joseph (Erin), Aaron Jesse, Jason (Erin), Joseph, Jaimie Vargas, Seann, Nate (Haley) Anderson and Tyler Rickard; proud great grandmother of Michael, Madison, Maddox, Katelyn, Jacob, Maxwell, Alek, Addison, Jamison, Ellin, Parker and Tannen; dear sister of Vincent (Pat) and Jesse (Nancy) Luna, Alberta (the late Jesse) Vega and the late Carlos (the late Norma), Jim (Darlene), Tony and Nick Luna, Frank Mejia, and Margaret (the late Jesse) Gimenez; many loving nieces and nephews.
