August Nendze

August "Gus" William Nendze, 88, of Elgin, died Monday, February 22, 2021. Born June18, 1932 in Bellwood. August worked as a Tool and Die technician at Elkay Manufacturing for 28 years. He was a voracious reader and his faith and family were very important to him. Beloved husband of Barbara A. (nee Davison); loving father of Debbie (Greg) Scheitler, Lori (Kevin) Gifford and Kari (Sean) Delacour; cherished grandpa of Jim, Michael, Kristen, Alyssa, Owen and Brenah and great grandpa of 8; dear son of August and Eleanor (nee Marx) and kind brother of 5. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory.
