Arturo Partida

Arturo Partida, age 54, passed away on March 17, 2022 in Elgin, Illinois. He was known to his loved ones as Art. Art was born in Guanajuato, Mexico, the oldest son of Jose G. Partida and Maria C. Loza. He graduated from Elgin High School and then attended Lincoln Tech. Art worked many years as a mechanic before switching to his current career as a technician/truck operator. Art was outgoing, outspoken, adventurous and truly enjoyed spending time with his family. His love for motorcycles and cars was unmeasurable, a passion he shared with his son, Arturo, Jr.

Art is survived by both of his parents, Jose and Maria. His children; Stacey Partida and Arturo A. Partida, Jr. His siblings; Maria Y. (Fermin) Jaime, Maria G. Aguilera, Esther (Eric) Ramirez, Guadalupe Partida, Raul (Hillary) Partida and Daisy Partida. 11 nieces and nephews and many family members who loved him dearly.

Visitation Wednesday March 23, 2022 from 8:30am until time of prayers 10:15am at The Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 95 South Gilbert St., South Elgin To St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elgin for Mass at 11:00am.
