Arthur Pierce

Arthur E. Pierce, 86, formerly of Hanover Park, died Monday, August 3, 2015. Born December 24, 1928 in Atlanta, IL. Arthur was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korea as a Medic where he received a Purple Heart for his services. He was an avid cubs fan and enjoyed dancing and going on trips. He will be missed by his family. Beloved husband of the late Donna; loving father of Barbara (James) DeLee and Susan (Richard) Scott; cherished grandpa of Clinton (Erin) DeLee, Christina (Nathan) Hancock, Patrick Scott and Laura (Jason) Adams; dear great-grandpa of Hannah, Trevor, Lucy and Emma; caring son of the late Arthur and Doris (nee Snook) and fond brother of Edward (Darlene), Maryetta (Late Eddie) and the late Robert; brother-in-law of Joyce. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral Friday 10:00a.m. at the Funeral Home.
