Arthur Frech

Arthur Frech, 85, of South Elgin, died Sunday July 12th at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 17th, 1924. Beloved husband of 61 years to Jean (nee Thornton); loving father of Donna (James) Conard and Laura Frech; cherished grandfather Corrie (Monty) LeClair, Amanda (Jim) Hatfield; proud great grandfather of Anna and Brody LeClair; dear brother of Shirley (Bob) Nalevac. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Evelyn Frech. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Charles, the American Legion and the Elgin Genealogical Society. He was a veteran of the Army in New Guinea and the Phillipines during World War II.. Memorial Service will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1145 N. Fifth Ave., St. Charles, Il 60174. The Rev. Mark Larson will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
