Armand Lafond

Armand Leslie LaFond, Jr., 87, of Lombard, IL, passed away on December 3, 2023. Armand was born on March 4, 1936 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to Armand, Sr. and Mildred LaFond. He was known as ‘Bud’ to all who loved him and affectionally referred to as GB, short for Grandpa Bud. Bud was truly one a kind. He loved South Park, A Christmas Story, match-lit cigarettes, Marilyn’s caramels and fudge and a stiff cocktail. He wore flame suspenders, gifted leg lamps to his grandkids and made them their first Whiskey Sours when they were of age. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn Ehrlich; loving father of Linda (Phil) Wallace, Armand (Brenda) LaFond, Arlette Krempasky, and Douglas (Lisa) LaFond; cherished grandfather of Angela (Marcus) Sullivan, Greg Wallace, Katie (Erik) Schulze, Timothy Wallace, Brittany Krempasky, Christopher (Jenna) Wallace, R.J. Krempasky, and Jessica (Andrew) White and great-grandfather of Nathan, Jason, Norah, Trevor, Alex, Adelynn and Lucas. Armand was preceded in death by his parents Armand and Mildred and his sister Maryann LaFond. A private cremation was held at Countryside Crematory.
