Arlene E. Thompson

Arlene E. Thompson (nee Kuzmiak), 86, of Bartlett, formerly of Roselle, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Arlene was a career secretary at various businesses which she eventually retired from. An avid Cubs fan, Arlene enjoyed bowling, golfing, and enjoying the sunshine. She loved visiting Disney World, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Beloved wife of 66 years to Gerald O. "Jerry"; loving mother of Carrie (Michael) Wagner, Kelly (fiance Rolando Delgado) Thompson, and Janice (Phillip) Wyka; proud grandmother of Brittney Wagner, Nichole Wagner, Ryan Wagner, Alexa (fiance Cristian Bridley) Wagner, Dylan Wyka, and Abigail Wyka; dear sister of the late Nora (the late Paul) Mineo; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, December 30 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday 10:00am at the funeral home.
