Arlene Rembowski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Arlene Rembowski, who departed this world peacefully on Friday, August 28th, 2026. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Arlene's warmth, love, and laughter will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Arlene was the cherished mother of Ken (Michele) Rembowski and Donna (Bernard) Schmidt, She was the proud and loving grandmother of William (Serena) Bornhoff, whose accomplishments brought her unbounded joy.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo, with whom she shared a beautiful life of exploration and adventure. Together, Arlene and Leo traversed the globe and shared a passion for golfing, creating countless memories along the way.

A longtime member of the IUCC Streamwood community, Arlene's faith and involvement enriched the lives of her fellow parishioners. Her dedication and contributions to her community will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Arrangements for Arlene have been kindly provided by Countryside Funeral Homes & Crematory - Streamwood. She will be remembered for her compassionate spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and the light she brought into the lives of those around her.
