April Eleanore Porter, 44, of Lake Zurich, formerly of Arlington Heights, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023. A true empath, April was known to feel others' feelings, often relishing in their happiness. An extrovert who never met a stranger, she was fiercely loyal and known for her heart of gold. Cherished mother of Cole; beloved daughter of Owen (fiancee Shelley Carroll) and the late Deborah (nee Fisher) Porter; loving sister of Liz Szarek; fond aunt of Allyson and Emily Szarek; devoted fiancee of the late Jason Vitez. Visitation Friday, July 28 from 3:00pm until time of memorial service 6:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg.
