Anthony Vassalla, 84, of Hanover Park, formerly of Chicago, IL; beloved husband of the late Bernadine nee Klein; loving father of Michael (the late Patricia), Carol (John) Juchzinski and Patricia (Stephen) Fitch; cherished grandfather of Lisa (Jason) Davis, Stephen (Patricia), John Juchzinski, David Fitch and Justin Fitch; great-grandfather of Aiden, Jillian and Leighton; dear brother of Rose (Vincent “Jim”) Candella, Jerry (Lucille) and the late Ann, Beatrice, Maryann, Virginia “Dolly” and Victor “Toots”.
Anthony was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. Memorial visitation Saturday, Nov. 22, 1:30 PM until the time of Memorial Service 2:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood/Schaumburg. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. Memorial donations to Faith Baptist Church P.O. Box 207, Streamwood, IL 60107 would be appreciated.
