A. Vincent Giampa, Sr. Loving father of Anthony and Lauren; dear brother of Nancy Salerno and Frank Giampa; caring uncle to many nieces and nephews; fond son of the late Louis and Jennie (nee: DiGuilio); he is also survived by the mother of his children Suzanne Newhouse.
He was a veteran of the Air Force and was also the past national commander of the Italian American War Veterans, also he was a former member of the Hanover Park Lions Club.
Visitation Thursday 3:00pm until 9:00pm at the Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood. Funeral Friday 9:15am to Church of the Holy Spirit for Mass at 10:00am. Following Mass burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
