Anthony Bachert

Anthony “Tony” Bachert, 83, of Lombard died January 4, 2022. Born August 21, 1938 in Chicago. Tony loved golfing and bowling, his yearly trips to Las Vegas and was an avid Cubs fan. Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Janey; loving dad of Richard (Bernadette) Gilman, Kim (Nick) Marchese and Steve (Caroline) Bachert; cherished grandpa of Toni, Nicholas, Brian, Lauren, Katie, Emily, Thomas and the late Michael Gilman; dear son of the late Anton and Phyllis (nee DeCicco) Bachert and kind brother of Anita Bachert and the late Adeline. Memorial visitation 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Cremation is private at the Countryside Crematory.
