Anna Tegtmeier

July 3, 1928 — November 16, 2021

Anna Marie Tegtmeier (nee Schwarz) passed away peacefully in her home, in her favorite bedroom, on Tuesday, November 16th at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of her late husband, Herman Tegtmeier. She was loved dearly by her late twin sister Hildegard Lietzo and her parents, Martin and Marie Schwarz. She will be forever cherished and loved by her children; Sharon Bost, James Tegtmeier (Laura), Gail Bearup (Tom), Diane Tegtmeier and Tim Tegtmeier, all of whom she loved dearly. She will be held lovingly forever in the hearts of her grandchldren; Stacie Bost, Christopher Tegtmeier (Jessica), Ian Bearup (Melissa), Zachary Tegtmeier (Marann), Celine Stinnett (Will), Todd Bost (Nancy) and Rick Bost (Claudia). She was blessed to have loving memories of her Great Grandchildren, who will treasure her forever; Joshua Bost, Ryan Bost, Sophia Stinnett, Tommy Bearup, Ella Marie Tegtmeier, Lily Bearup and Layla Ann Tegtmeier. She will be missed by all those who lovingly called her Auntie or friend.

She loved her family. She loved her friends. She loved her life. She loved her work. She enjoyed sharing stories about her time growing up in Des Plaines or living in Rolling Meadows, until the early 70's, with her beloved husband, kids and wonderful neighbors. She loved spending time with friends whether they were taking a trip, having lunch or enjoying a glass of wine together. She loved working side-by-side with her beloved mother at Haspburg Inn, her first job. She met so many lifelong friends while working at NW Community Hospital as a Linen Technician, until her retirement. She treasured her last job as a Customer Service rep at Woodfield Mall because she loved the people she worked with; and so many of her family and friends stopped by to visit.

Wherever she went in life; she always met a new friend.
