Ann Hogue , 88, born May 10, 1925, died September 12, 2013. A New Englander by birth, Ann moved to the Chicago are in the '50's, where she raised four children: Virginia Borowicz, Al (Emily)Hogue, Diane Sharp and Larry (Cricket)Hogue. She was grandmother to Kate Borowicz Linder (Mikey), James Borowicz, Jason Sharp, Amy Sharp (Mark), Jennie Lavin (Mike), Kevin Hogue; great grandma to Brooklyn and Ava.
Ann enjoyed the outdoors, whether taking a walk, working in the garden, or simply sitting on the porch. She also enjoyed reading, knitting, line dancing and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter & Mildred (Stedman) Hollis and her brother Ray (Jean) Hollis; sisters Betty (Ed) Brandt and Barbara "Bobby" (Phil) Lyman. Cremation and a celebration of her life will all be held privately. Arrangements by the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.
