Andres Avelino Medina Herrera, 70, formerly of Hanover Park, Bartlett and Hoffman Estates; husband of Hilda Mancera Miranda; father of Horacio, Andres (Veronica), Martin and Hilda; grandfather of Isabela and Andrea; he was one of 16 children and leaves behind a sister Delfina and 2 brothers Nicandro and Luis. You will never meet a harder working man
than Andres. He could and would out work men 30 years younger than him. When he relaxed he enjoyed watching or listening to sports, especially boxing, baseball (Cardinals and Yankees), football (Green Bay Packers) and soccer (America). In Mexico he was an excellent baseball player, playing both shortstop and right field. Visitation Sunday, June 30th, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 S. Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Monday, July 1st, 8:20 am prayers at the funeral home to St. Ansgar Church. Mass 9:30 am. Burial St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. que andres Él podía y haría funcionar a hombres 30 años más jóvenes que él. Cuando se relajó, disfrutaba viendo o escuchando deportes, especialmente boxeo, béisbol (Cardenales y Yankees), fútbol (Green Bay Packers) y fútbol (América).
