Ana Maria Valencia, 97, of Elgin, formerly of Lakeland, FL. Ana was the beloved mother of Jose (Nivia), Maria (the late Daniel) Peña, Amador (Deborah), Alejandro, Marina, (Marcos) Alvarez, Juan, Ana Rosa (Miguel) Molina and Francisco (Kelly); proud grandmother of 22; cherished great grandmother of 28. Ana was born in Mexico City, Mexico. She loved to play skibo, and she always won.
Visitation Sunday November 27, 3:00p.m. until the time of service 8:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Street (at State Street) South Elgin. Following services cremation will be private at Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to Dementia Society of America www.dementiasociety.org would be appreciated.
