Ana Mendez

Ana Mendez of Elgin was born into eternal life on the morning of May 12th surrounded by people who loved her dearly. She leaves behind a large, loving family. She will be deeply missed by her children Analuisa, Luis (Trinidad), Judith (Jose Luis), Jauan Antonio "Tony", Gladys, Teddy (Bertha), Marrysol (Epifanio), Nidia and Ani (Francisco); 25 grandchildren; 32 greatgrandchildren and a sister Valeriana (Ramon). She joins a brother Eduardo, sister Veronica and her parents Pedro and Rosa who preceded her in death. Visitation will be Tuesday 3:00-9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert St. (at Middle St.) South Elgin. Funeral Wednesday 11:00 am. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.
