Amy Tagoe

Amy Marie Tagoe (nee Smith), 40, of South Elgin, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Born July 21, 1975 in Chicago. She was the daughter of William and Mary Ann (nee Josetti) Smith. Amy was always happy and put others before her. She enjoyed coaching cheer and having fun but her true passion was spending time with all of her family. Beloved wife of 7 years to Frank; loving mom of Maya and Frank; cherished daughter of Mary Ann and Gerry Hizer and the late William Smith; dear sister of Charles (Janine) Smith and the late Christopher; caring daughter-in-law to Irene Tagoe and the late Frank and sister-in-law of Charlene and Cheryl; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation 3:00p.m. until time of service 7:30p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett.
