Amy Lynn Hernicz (nee McGough), 56, of Bartlett passed away September 18, 2024. Amy was the loving mother of Andrew and Alaina; cherished daughter of Gerald and Lorraine McGough; beloved sister of Robert (Joyce) McGough and Julie Leuck; and dear aunt of Nathan McGough.
Amy was a devoted mother, and loved her dogs, Buster and Callie. She was a talented visual artist and enjoyed kayaking, playing piano, and spending time with her friends and family.
Visitation Monday, September 23, 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Street (at State Street), South Elgin. Funeral Tuesday, 10:30am at the funeral home. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations to The Breast Cancer Foundation - Susan G. Komen or Ascension Illinois Foundation would be appreciated.
