Aliceann Scardina, a beloved resident of Streamwood, Illinois for 44 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19th, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on Thursday, June 11th, 1959, in Chicago. Aliceann was a beacon of kindness, creativity, and love in her community.
Aliceann was the cherished wife of 48 years to Frank Scardina. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared a life filled with love and adventure. She was a devoted mother to Frank (Jackie) Scardina, Phyllis (Thomas) Carlson, and Joseph (Brittney Myers) Scardina. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Gabriella, Isabella, Ethan, and Maddie, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine (nee Virga) Fassl, Aliceann carried forward their values and traditions, influencing all those who were lucky enough to know her. Her deep love for her family was matched only by her dedication to helping others and her passion for the arts.
For 25 years, Aliceann ran the Night Hawk Foundation, making a significant impact through her charitable initiatives and commitment to enhancing the lives of others. An excellent artist, Aliceann expressed her creativity through her beautiful paintings and crafts, leaving behind a collection of work that will be treasured by her family and friends.
Aliceann's adventurous spirit saw her travel across 43 states, where she gathered memories and experiences that she loved to share with family and friends. Her kindness, intelligence, and the warmth she showed everyone she met were testaments to a life well-lived.
Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory, with arrangements provided by Countryside Funeral Homes & Crematory - Streamwood. Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared remain a guiding light for her family and everyone fortunate enough to have crossed her path.
