Visitation for Alfonso Arevalo, of Hanover Park since 1986, will be Tuesday, October 11, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Wednesday, 10:15 a.m. to St. Ansgar Church. Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
Born November 17, 1934 Alfonso died October 8, 2011.
He was the beloved husband of the late Micaela nee Romero for 58 years. Loving father of Ana Rosa (Candelario) Tapia, Alfonso (Lynn), Miguel (Sandra), and the late Marta Gabriela Arevalo. Proud grandfather of Alexander, Gregory, Cecilia, Stefan, Connor, and Addison.
Alfonso enjoyed listening to music, and watching Mexican fútbol (soccer) with his grandchildren. He loved to ride his bicycle.
