Alexandra "Lucy" Chochos

Alexandra "Lucy" Chochos (nee Dykyj), 77, of Bartlett, formerly of Chicago, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022. Lucy was best known for the love she had for her two daughters and grandchildren, the pleasure she had planning and cooking for parties or holidays, her sewing and needlepoint skills, her handywoman acumen and enjoyment from word search puzzle books to arranging flower pots, and making sure people knew her opinion. Beloved wife of the late Gus Chochos; loving mother of Christina (Jesse) Merrell and Laura (Stephen) Healey; proud grandmother to Lily Plebanski and Sophie Saflarski and step grandmother of Laura (Zack) McBride and Kimberly (Jared) Vandermolen; devoted daughter of Eugenia and Onofry Krutyholowa; dear sister of Zenio (Patience) Krutyholowa and Eugene Krutyholowa; fond aunt of Katrina Krutyholowa and Alysia (Eric) Losik; beloved relative of many, some no longer with us, of the Dykyj, Krutyholowa, and Chochos families. Visitation Tuesday, June 21 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday 11:00am.
