Alberta May "Bertie" Barker (nee Duncan), 92, of Westfield, IL, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL. Bertie was born April 1, 1930 in Mansfield, IL to the late Ira J. Duncan and the late Alice (nee Tatman) Duncan. Beloved wife of the late Tony, whom she married April 1, 1948 in Champaign, IL; loving mother of Lillian (Jerry) Ciolek, Susan Krizan, and the late Toni (John (Meg) Janis; proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; dear sister of Myrtle Pingel, Ruby Sutcliffe, the late Mary Ann Fail, the late Robert Duncan, the late Everett Duncan, the late Henry Skillings, and the late Olen Billy Skillings; grandmother of the late Nicholas Krizan; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; dear sister in law of Kenneth "Pete" (Rosie) Barker and Helen "Ninki" Hillman; cherished step daughter of the late Albert Skillings. Visitation Sunday, June 26th from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral Monday 11:30am. Interment Memory Gardens.
