Visitation for Albert J. Kolich of Elgin, formerly of Streamwood and Strawberry Hill Kansas City, KS will be held Thursday April 23, 2015 4:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert St. (at State St.) South Elgin. Prayers to begin at the funeral home Friday 9:30a.m., procession to St. Thomas More Church. Mass 10:30a.m. Following mass, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.

Albert was a Naval Veteran, serving his country in WWII.
He is the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Ann nee Whalen; loving father of Helen (James) Metz, Albert J. Kolich, Jr., Lawrence (Lynn), Michelle Holland, Barbara (Michael) Brzeczek, Joseph (Amy), Theresa (John) Wahl, Kenneth, Christina (Brian) Satterlee, Elizabeth Mahoney, Gregory, Jacqueline (Jason) Rome, Cynthia (fiancé Daniel Lanigan), Louise (Michael) Holte and Judith (Tony) Kwasniewski; cherished grandfather of 35; proud great grandfather of 12; dear brother of Jerome (Janet) and the late John, Miko, Anna, Stephen, Louise, Genevieve, Barbara and Bernard. Many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations made to School Sisters of St. Francis Christ the King 13900 Main St. Lemont, IL would be appreciated.
