Alan James Doty, 53, of Elgin, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024. Alan enjoyed playing bass guitar and was a known computer aficionado. Son of the late Alan Gordon (the late Terry) Doty; father of Theodore "Teddy" Doty; brother of the late Marc William Doty. Cremation was private at Countryside Crematory. Memorial visitation Saturday, December 28 from 10:00am until time of memorial service 12:00 noon at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett.
