John “Jack” Vitola of Hanover Park; beloved husband of Maria (nee Coll); loving father of Bernadette and Lisa Ann; cherished grandfather of Thomas; proud great grandfather of Laila and McKenzie; dear brother of Charlie, Joan (Lenny) Porcelli, Jean (Joe) Scorzelli. Visitation Sunday, May 20th , 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd, (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Monday, 11:30 a.m. to St. Peter Damian Church. Mass 12:00 p.m. (noon). Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to UNICEF at www.unicef.org would be appreciated.
