John H. Anderson, 80, of Streamwood. Born October 22, 1931 in LeMars, IA. He was the son of John H. and Adella Ann (nee Schalinske). John enjoyed puttering around the house and playing poker (anything but Hold’em). He was an avid bowler and played with Hi-Society for many years. He will be missed by many. Beloved husband of 48 years to Priscilla (nee Welsch); loving father to Beth, Ruth, Amy and Keith (Michele); dear grandfather to Zackary, Scout, Tate, Jake and Jessica; fond brother to Sharon (John) Rose and uncle to 3 nieces. Visitation Friday, March 16, 2012 from 3:00p.m. until time of service 7:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood.
