Robert “Bob” L. Potthoff of South Elgin formerly of Hinsdale; beloved husband of Bonnie (nee Jocz); loving father of Robert Jr. (Judi) and Kimberley (Al) Rubin; cherished grandfather of Katie, Rachel, Rebecca and Daniel; dear brother of Donna (Stanley) Newcomer and Sally (Jim) Ludlow; a friend of many.

He was employed at Moser Lumber of Naperville for 25+ years, an avid enthusiast of the Civil War. He enjoyed a good joke, favored hot food, old movies and genealogy.

Memorial Visitation Thursday, March 8th from 3:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service 6:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 95 S. Gilbert St., (at Middle St.), South Elgin. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
